Shoalhaven Mayor Joanna Gash said the fellowships would provide the opportunity for a regional artist to undertake a self-directed program of professional development.
The $50,000 fellowships are open to regionally based artists practising in a diverse range of art forms including dance, digital arts, history, Aboriginal arts and culture, literature, music, theatre, screen and the visual arts.
Two fellowships are available this year with applications open until August 24 for professional artists and art and cultural workers.
