I watched the show and thought the person posing the question did not say anything out of place until provoked by the parliamentary secretary. I found him (the latter) very rude.
I did not read much when Tony Abbott stood in front of a banner which suggested “ditch the witch”, an obvious slur against the then prime minister Julia Gillard.
Abbott then has the arrogance, after being elected PM, to appoint himself as Minister for Women.
