The 2015 Annual Black Cockatoo Aboriginal Art Award for NAIDOC will be officially opened Friday at 4pm at the University of Wollongong, Shoalhaven campus, West Nowra.

Prize money includes first prize $1500, second prize $750, third prize $350 and $100 for the youth award (five to 18 year olds).
Each year Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, living, working or studying in the Shoalhaven are invited to submit entries.
The standard will be high again this year.
There are several primary and high schools also participating this year, and the committee thanks those schools for their participation.
A bus service will operate for the opening night and duration of the exhibition for elders and other Nowra community members wishing to attend.
The main pick up and drop off point will be Stuart Place as follows: opening night pick up 3pm and returning at 7.30pm (home drop off); following week pick up at 10.30am and return at 12.30pm; pick up at 1pm and return at 3pm.
