A FIRE that destroyed a large furniture and bedding warehouse in Moruya industrial area on Friday night is under investigation.

Forensic services group, state crime command and Batemans Bay detectives are investigating the cause of the fire in conjunction with the NSW Rural Fire Service.
Moruya, Batemans Bay and Ulladulla Fire and Rescue crews and Eurobodalla Rural Fire Service crews arrived at the scene at Shelley Road at 9.30pm to find the 120 by 20 metre building well alight.
The crews had brought the blaze under control by 1am but had no chance of saving the building.
The cause of of the fire is as yet unknown.
Rural Fire Service units remained on the scene on Saturday morning.
Moruya Fire and Rescue Captain Mark Gould said it was one of the largest fires in Moruya in many years.
"It was the biggest fire i have been to in five or more years," he said.
"It didn't look to be suspicious but it is still under investigation.
"I have no idea how it started."
