Finance and industry experts will demystify solar, helping businesses to make sense of different tariff and finance options, including whether to buy, lease, look for a power purchase agreement or consider a community investment model.
Business owners can bring a copy of their electricity bill to arrange a free, independent analysis of the site, including recommended system size, and the time it would take to pay off a solar system.
NSW Office of Environment and Heritage regional clean energy coordinator Chris Mackenzie said the session would feature everything business owners need to know about solar panel installation, technologies and funding options.
“Expert speakers will highlight information and techniques that can help businesses and organisations reduce costs,” he said.
“We’ll share tips including how to read energy bills, find training opportunities and compare financing options for energy efficiency investments as well as solar.”
