Nominations are open in categories covering all segments of the industry including accommodation, attractions, tourism restaurants, registered clubs, and events.
This year will feature a new award for the growing sector of wedding planners and venues, while two prestigious awards will also be presented to a young achiever in tourism and to an individual who has made the most outstanding contribution to tourism on the South Coast.
Winners will be announced at a gala evening at the Ulladulla Civic Centre on August 26.
Eurobodalla Mayor and chairman of council’s tourism advisory committee, Lindsay Brown, said entrants needed to answer six questions and entries were judged equally on their written submission and a site visit.
“Tourism operators from Wollongong to Bega Valley are eligible to enter and I encourage businesses to consider entering the category that best reflects their core business,” Cr Brown said.
Eurobodalla winners from 2014 included Bodalla Cheese Factory, Carrie’s Cottage at Nelligen and Big 4 Broulee Beach Holiday Park.
Entry forms are available by visiting www.southcoast.net.au or emailing office@southcoast.net.au or ect@eurocoast.nsw.gov.au.
Nominations close June 26.
