I WANT to reply to all those who support the navy and say first of all I live about 40km from the base at HMAS Albatross and the navy has an area set aside for flying helicopters called the Tianjara Low Flying Area for them to train in. It is in a south westerly direction from Albatross. So instead of calling people names, first of all work out where they live.

I think, as others do, that these young, incompetent cowboy pilots could not be capable of defending anyone including themselves because they are being trained by navy bosses that have been in the job too long and have become incompetent and need to be retired.
I also believe there should be a navy enquiry into the behaviour of the top brass at Albatross. I have taken film (when I am at home) of the many times I have been harassed by these helicopters and have sent a copy of the film and several emails to the captain at Albatross but he is too far above the lowly people outside of the base to reply to my emails.
Our local federal member made her decision without even giving me the courtesy of looking at the film. I know she likes the captain, so you won’t get much sense out of her.
All it needed was some replies to my emails and maybe a meeting, just some good old public relations, but the old guard is incapable of that.
All I want is for the very low level helicopter flights to stop but alas I am sure there will be more now that I have ruffled the feathers of our superiors in the navy again. End of subject.

Yatte Yattah.
