The South Nowra store and the Sanctuary Point store combined in the sale to kick-start the organisation’s major annual fundraiser.
At South Nowra $3942 was raised and in Sanctuary Point $434 was raised. A pallet of mixed goods was also sold on the day for $150 in a silent auction.
Shoalhaven Corps Salvation Army Lieutenant Dominic Wallis said both stores were busy on the day.
“Sanctuary Point was busier after lunch as the word spread. South Nowra had a line up at the cash register all day long.
“A big thanks to all our staff and volunteers who constantly do their bit to help support the work of the Salvation Army.”
