The meeting was called after internet outages on three straight weekends, and another on Tuesday last week.
Resident Peter Hickman said 11 people attended and Dr Hendy listened for an hour.
“He is passing our concerns onto Malcolm Turnbull, the Minister for Telecommunications,” he said.
“He is also meeting Chris Taylor from Telstra next week.”
Mr Hickman said Telstra was not maintaining infrastructure.
“They are relying on the NBN network to come in soon.”
Dr Hendy said it was a constructive meeting.
“I will pass the issues onto Malcolm Turnbull and the regional director of Telstra Chris Taylor, because these are ongoing issues.
“They are occurring too often.”
