Councillors and senior staff will provide a barbecue lunch and the opportunity to discuss concerns and issues from 1pm on Friday.
The lunch is the first in an ongoing series with councillors planned to visit residents in Bomaderry, North Nowra, Cambewarra, Kangaroo Valley and Berry.
Shoalhaven Mayor Joanna Gash said the idea was to generate a relaxed and informal discussion about the city’s direction or individual issues that affect the community.
“With so much happening across the community this also represents another valuable opportunity for councillors to receive valuable feedback and ideas from engaged local residents,” she said.
“It’s allowed councillors to gain a greater knowledge and insight into many proposed developments and potential issues right across the city.”
