A CALLALA Bay woman, who pleaded guilty to misrepresenting herself as being licenced will be sentenced in Nowra Local Court on May 15.

Melinda Jane Bezzina, 47, of Chapman Street, pleaded guilty in the case brought by the NSW Department of Fair Trading, to misrepresentation under Section 17 of the Home Builders Act of 1989 before the Nowra Court registrar on Friday.
Evidence before the court stated on or about February 6, 2014, at Callala Bay in an email to New Living Homes, Bezzina represented company Beztik Industries, which had been deregistered on December 20, 2009, as being the holder of a contractor’s licence knowing that it wasn’t.
Ms Bezzina will be sentenced on May 15.
