MARK Twain was often reported as passed on but this was not the case. Likewise the Australian Democrats have been reported dead and recently as being no longer registered federally as a political party.

I would like to report that Darren Churchill, the national president of the Australian Democrats, has issued a statement saying the party is appealing against the deregistration. Darren Churchill confirmed that the party is still registered in NSW and hopefully we be again registered in South Australia.
I would again like to take this opportunity to thank your readers who may have voted for the Australian Democrats in the NSW state election.
