Just after 8am on Monday a northbound Renault hatchback crashed into the back of a parked Mercedes four-wheel-drive north of Shoalhaven Heads.
Shoalhaven Local Area Command Inspector Steve Johnson said a 52-year-old Culburra Beach woman was in the four-wheel-drive which had a flat tyre.
“The driver of the Renault, a 30-year-old woman from Miranda, and her passenger, a 38-year-old man from Oak Flats suffered serious injuries.
They were airlifted by helicopter to a Sydney hospital.
“The driver of the four-wheel-drive was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital suffering suspected neck injuries,” Inspector Johnson said.
