At 11.50pm police were patrolling when they saw a black Mitsubishi drive out of Kameruka Crescent.
The driver failed to stop for the police and drove into a Clipper Road driveway.
Police stopped behind the car and saw the man running away and scaling a fence.
They chased him and found him in a back yard.
After failing a breath test, police arrested the man and took him to Nowra Police Station.
There he was given a breath analysis which returned a reading of .092.
Police also discovered the man’s licence had been suspended.
He will appear in Nowra Local Court on May 11 to answer the charges.
