A CALLALA Bay woman has been ordered to appear in Nowra Local Court in person to answer charges of misrepresenting herself as being licenced.

Melinda Jane Bezzina, 47, of Chapman Street, did not appear before court registrar in Nowra on Friday but was represented.
In a case brought by the NSW Department of Fair Trading, Bezzina is charged with misrepresentation under Section 17 of the Home Builders Act of 1989.
Evidence before the court stated on or about February 6, 2014, at Callala Bay in an email to New Living Homes, she represented company Beztik Industries, which had been deregistered on December 20, 2009, as being the holder of a contractor’s licence knowing that it wasn’t.
The matter has been relisted for Nowra Court on April 17, with Ms Bezzina ordered to appear in person to enter a plea.
