Ashley Brandon, of Bumblegumbie Road, appeared in Downing Centre on Wednesday, charged with demand property in company with menaces with intent to steal and take/detain persons in company with intent to obtain advantage.
He did not enter a plea.
Police allege in July last year Brandon, in company of two other men, approached a 20-year-old man who was sitting in his car in an underground car park of the Ex-Servicemen’s Club on Junction Street.
Police said the three men got into the car and allegedly ordered the man to drive to an ATM on Junction Street, where he withdrew cash.
Police allege the trio took cash from the man and instructed him to drive to an address in Bomaderry, where they left the car and walked into a home.
Brandon’s bail was continued and he will stand trial in Sydney Downing Centre District Court on September 14.
