The Review of Environmental Factors (REF) will be on public exhibition until Wednesday, April 15.
The completion of the REF was a catalyst for a series of public meetings starting with the first at Huskisson Community Hall on Monday, March 30 from 4.30pm.
Another meeting will be held at the Sussex Inlet Community Centre from 7pm.
On Tuesday, March 31 a meeting will be held at the Lake Conjola Community Centre.
Natural resources and floodplain manager Isabelle Ghetti said the REF tried to accommodate community concerns around erosion and sand reuse.
“From our point of view the experts have looked at it and there were no show-stoppers,” she said.
“At Currambene Creek we realised part of the proposed dredging footprint was in the sanctuary zone but we proposed to remove it from that zone.”
Council received a state government grant for $708,000 which will cover half the cost of the dredging projects.
Council plans to have the dredging completed by November with all work scheduled to take place outside of shorebird breeding season.
