Residents who live near the 104 Jervis Street property, opposite Nowra East Public School, have called for the home, which was burnt in May 2013, to be demolished.
According to residents the home is “an eyesore and a danger”.
A resident, who didn’t want to be named, said they had approached Shoalhaven City Council but nothing had been done.
“It has been there in this condition for a while,” the woman said.
“It’s not a good look, especially opposite the school. Students shouldn’t have to see it every day as they go to school.”
She said the grass around the property was long and people were dumping rubbish in front of the home.
Shoalhaven City Council said it served a demolition order on the property owner in March 2014.
The property was part of a deceased estate and new orders were issued to the current owners.
Council said a dispute between insurers, the property owner and other relatives was holding up the demolition.
