The first attack took place on the evening of Thursday, March 5th in the suburb of Cartwright, when a 55-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds under his left arm.

Two weeks later in the early hours of Thursday, March 19th, a 47-year-old man was accosted by a group of people in his driveway on Elizabeth Drive in Mount Pritchard, where he was stabbed and robbed of two mobile phones. Following the altercation he was taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A spokesperson for Police Media said that the investigation into the Mount Pritchard incident was continuing, and it was unknown how many more arrests would be made.

On Monday, a 20-year-old man was taken to Cabramatta Police Station and held without bail after being charged with maliciously wounding a person with intent; and robbery in company causing wounding.

The arrest came after a join investigation into the pair of incidents by Cabramatta and Green Valley Local Area Commands.

The man is scheduled to appear in Liverpool Local Court today.
