Star of the hit South Coast-based Lifestyle Channel series River Cottage Australia, Paul West, is heading north to Mollymook where he will launch his new cookbook.

Featuring recipes from the first three series of River Cottage Australia, the book reveals the delicious dishes that Paul has created on his farm at Central Tilba, where the show is filmed.
From pumpkin scones, roasted octopus salad, baked salmon and pig on a spit, to borlotti bean broth and warm curb cake with honey rhubarb, the book features 120 recipes, including a sprinkling of dishes by British River Cottage founder, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
The Australian show highlights the local characters and scenery of the Far South Coast, with episodes filmed at Narooma, Batemans Bay, Cooma and Tilba.
Paul was born in Murrurundi, a small town in the Hunter Valley region, and lived in South Arm, Tasmania before purchasing his property near Narooma specifically to film the show.
A qualified chef, he has worked in all areas of food production from a volunteer organic fruiterer to the country’s top restaurant, Vue De Monde.
He holds a certificate in Permaculture Design and is passionate about food and its production on a local, regional and national level.
Fans and foodies will have a chance to dine with Paul over a long table three-course lunch to be held at Tallwood Restaurant in Mollymook on April 13.

The cookbook will be available for purchase from the Harbour Bookstore in Rowen’s Arcade from April 1 and also at the lunch.
