Joanne Hall, 35, of Warrawong, appeared in Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday charged with four counts of armed robbery, two counts of break-and-enter and an outstanding warrant.
Hall was arrested and charged by officers from Strike Force Marroo, which is investigating a series of armed robberies on the South Coast between May and September last year.
The robberies occurred at a fast food restaurant in Unanderra, a golf club in Port Kembla, IGA supermarkets in Gerringong and Bomaderry Plaza, a bowling club in Dapto and a bottle shop in Lake Heights.
At the Gerringong robbery on August 3 a teenage cashier was threatened with a hammer, while a similar incident happened at the IGA supermarket in the Bomaderry Plaza in the same month.
Bail was not applied for and was formally refused, with Hall remanded in custody for sentence at the Sydney Downing Centre District Court on April 17.
