The council’s director of Corporate and Community, Craig Milburn, confirmed the cheque, the first of three post-dated cheques signed by Patrick Pang on behalf of the foundation last Friday and dated January 28, had cleared.
The second cheque, also for $1 million, was post-dated to January 29. The third cheque for $3.1 million is post-dated to February 23.
