Which Witch will headline an evening of music to cap off the afternoon long festival.
They will be joined by South Coast’s Uke ‘n’ Harp and local singer-songwriters The Mix.
Which Witch has been playing together for 20 years with many members throughout this time.
Founding member Joni Braham (bass guitar) attributes the band’s longevity to the initial reason for forming the band.
“We were a group of women coming together to play music in a supportive environment where each member was valued for their individuality,” she said.
As well as Joni, the current line-up includes Jen Saunders (vocals), Sue Bessell (drums), Robin Sharpe (vocals and guitar) and Jen Callanan (vocals and keyboard).
Which Witch love playing for International Women’s Day events having built a strong and loyal following over the years.
They will bring guests a great night of dancing featuring songs from the 1960s through to today’s hits.
Uke ‘n’ Harp is a unique group featuring Celtic harpist Moira Lawry accompanied by eight ukuleles.
Moira is one of Australia’s foremost harpists who has played solo at the Sydney Opera House, has toured Japan and played in several international and Australian festivals.
Uke ‘n’ Harp play a varied repertoire of baroque, blues, Latin, jazz, Celtic and contemporary instrumentals.
They lift spirits and soothe the mind.
The Mix combines the musical talents of Tracey and Kerry, two local women with a powerful and obvious musical connection mixed with local musicians that bring their own energy and vibe to the band.
The Mix is filled with lush harmonies and driving rhythms that will set your feet tapping or send shivers up your spine.
The Women’s Wellness Festival begins at 1pm with entertainment starting at 5.30pm on Friday, March 20 at the Lady Denman Complex, Huskisson.
Food stalls will be on site into the evening selling an eclectic range of goodies.
