Moruya River: Great reports this week of bream and flatties being caught in the late afternoon, around the bridge, with most success being had on soft plastics, specifically Fuze Finbaits and Squidgy Prawns.

Bream, whiting, flatties, luderick, and trevally are also being caught from Quarry Wharf down to the Front.

Tuross: Good flatties, whiting, perch, luderick, and bream are being caught from the main basin, around the Four Ways, oyster leases and down to the front of the system. Soft plastics again are the stand out in the deeper water. For the shallower areas like the leases, locals have been using a deep diving SAKU Crank Junior, both getting smashed and also landing some good bream.  

Rocks and Beaches: The salmon and tailor are still proving difficult to get along with, and only the occasional fish has been caught, mainly around the Bingi area. The Break Wall, however, has been producing some good yellowfin bream and luderick, with the baits of choice being worms and live nippers.

The rocks around Bingi have been producing some great drummer with some big groper thrown in. bream are also being caught around the Congo area.

Offshore: Some nice snapper, mowies, pig fish, flathead and gummy sharks are being caught from the Broulee area, right down to Tuross. The blue-boxed Californian calamari seems to be the best bait for these guys.

Out wide, it¹s all about the beakies with plenty of Marlin being caught and released - a lot of these guys have been wide of both Moruya and Tuross canyons trolling skirts or live bait is usually the best way to go.
