South Broulee, North Broulee and North Head Moruya beaches remain closed according to Batemans Bay Police.
The beachs were closed on Wednesday after a massive shark attacked and killed a juvenile whale.
The young humpback was spotted, washed onto rocks at South Broulee Bbeach.
A rescue mission was being organised when the whale washed back off the rocks and was taken by the shark.
Thursday morning a police spokesman said to his knowledge the whales carcass had not washed up on the beach yet and the beach would remain closed until it did.
