On Sunday, December 21, the Bendigo Bank Aerial Patrol crew spotted 18 sharks, ranging in length from 1.5 metres to 2.5 metres on Jervis Bay beaches and tributaries.
Sightings were made at Collingwood Beach, as well as Neilson, Blenheim and Greenfields Beaches.
On Monday, the patrol recorded 12 sightings in the vicinity of Carrama Creek, Huskisson.
As the sightings were near unpatrolled beaches the aircraft siren was activated to alert swimmers about sharks in the area.
Surf Lifesaving was notified of the sightings and they in turn advised local police.
