They have been in continuous operation every Saturday for six years in the Tilba Big Hall.
The markets theme is “Grow It, Sew it, Make It” with produce ranging from fresh vegetable, cakes, breads and pastries, quilts, cards, jams, artwork and gifts, soaps and much, much more.
Rain, hail or shine the merry band of stallholders trade each Saturday morning from 8am to noon as well as a “trash and treasure” market each month.
Please note that this week’s Tilba Markets on Saturday, December 20 will be at the rear of the hall, at the usual time, and will incorporate the trash and treasure.
The newly created Bermagui Fishermen's Wharf Growers Market meanwhile is also going strong.
After a successful inaugural Bermagui’s growers market earlier this month, the Christmas market is this Thursday, December 18, commencing at 3pm, with a further six producers stalls.
All food shopping can be had at this community based growers market. During January the market will be held weekly from January 1 to January 22, then back to the first and third Thursday of the month.
