About 10pm (Tuesday 16 December 2014), emergency services were called to a home on Wells Place, Shoalhaven Heads, after a woman was found deceased in a bathtub.
Officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command attended and launched an investigation into the woman’s death, which is being treated as suspicious.
A crime scene has been established at the location, which will be examined by detectives and specialist forensic officers.
Detectives are now investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information that could assist police, to contact Crime Stoppers.
