I regularly work in Sydney and the price of petrol in Nowra is often six-10 cents a litre more than in Sydney.
Last weekend I noticed that unleaded petrol was selling for 15 cents a litre more in Nowra than in Albion Park.
Petrol is less expensive in many places south and west of Nowra as well. A little while ago I was driving up to Dubbo and found petrol to be about four-six cents per litre cheaper in Cowra than here.
I can’t help wondering why for at least the last few years, petrol stations north, south and west of us seem to be able to manage costs well below what we pay locally. What’s the go?
