The fires at Tallyann Pt Road in Basin View, Walmer Avenue in Sanctuary Point and Orontes Street at Orient Point were all under control by Sunday afternoon.
All are being treated as suspicious with a Rural Fire Service spokesperson saying in the Walmer Avenue area several fires were lit but they failed to take off.
Sunday was a very high danger fire day and a total fire ban had been declared.
Temperatures were expected to reach 37 in Nowra. They peaked at 33.5 and winds were light for much of the day.
All three fires will be patrolled over the next couple of days to avoid an reignition.
The Rural Fire Service received several reports of bush alight in the mid-afternoon but a spokesman said it was sea fog rolling in.
