To mark the milestone, an anniversary dinner will be held at the Bomaderry Bowling Club on November 15.
The foundation was formed in the honour of local sporting identity Bernie Regan, who passed away suddenly at the age of 40 in 1984.
Over the past 30 years, the fund has granted an average of $10,000 a year to aspiring youngsters in the Shoalhaven, meaning the total awarded would now be approaching $300,000.
Typically, the Trust would receive 20-30 applications each year, however the committee is quite selective and usually only 10 or so are awarded grants.
There have been some notable grant recipients in recent years, including cricketers Nic Maddinson and Philip Wells, surfers Owen and Tyler Wright and many others across a range of sports who have reached or competed at national level.
The committee also manages the Shoalhaven Sportstar of the Year awards.
The anniversary dinner will be hosted by Phil Lynch, who will interview previous grant recipients on the night to get a feeling of what the trust means to them.
While the function is mostly about celebrating 30 years, it is also to raise a bit of money to support the foundation.
The cost is $70 a head or a group of 10 can book a table for $650.
Tickets can now be purchased from the Bomaderry Bowling Club.
