The man identified by Sir Donald Bradman as the batsman whose technique most closely resembled his own, will arrive by helicopter at 11.15am on the same turf where Bradman honed his skill.
He will be met by students from the University of Wollongong (the Bradman Foundation's education partner) and the students of Bowral Public School where Sir Donald Bradman went to school.
On Wednesday night, Mr Tendulkar will attend the Bradman Gala Dinner at the SCG, where he will become a Bradman Honouree alongside Steve Waugh AO.
"There could be no more principled and deserving individuals in the game than Sachin and Steve," Bradman Foundation executive director Rina Hore said.
Mr Tendulkar is one of the International Cricket Hall's 20 'Greats of the Game' honoured in the Museum's International Gallery, which he will see during his tour of the museum with curator David Wells.
He will also meet with the Museum's long-serving volunteers and have his photograph taken by the famous 'final salute' bronze statue in the Bradman courtyard.
