Joanne Hall, 35, of Warrawong, appeared in Port Kembla Local Court on Friday before Magistrate Stoddart, charged with four counts of armed robbery, two counts of break-and-enter and an outstanding warrant.
Hall was arrested and charged by officers from Strike Force Marroo, investigating a series of armed robberies on the South Coast between May and September last year.
It was alleged the armed robberies occurred at a fast food restaurant in Unanderra, a golf club in Port Kembla, IGA supermarkets in Gerringong and Bomaderry Plaza, a bowling club in Dapto and a bottle shop in Lake Heights.
At the Gerringong robbery on August 3 it was alleged a teenage cashier was threatened with a hammer, while a similar incident happened at the IGA supermarket in the Bomaderry Plaza in the same month.
Bail was not applied for and was formally refused, with Hall remanded in custody to appear in Port Kembla Local Court on December 17.
