Clack carried his bat on his way to 135 not out from 134 balls as Nowra posted 230 from their 50 overs.

Clack had no trouble finding the boundary on his way to triple figures, with his knock including 19 fours and four sixes.

The opener didn’t get much assistance from the rest of the Nowra batting order, with only four other players reaching double figures.

Adam Weller’s 18 was the next best, while Kurt Regan added 16.

Tailender Lachlan Addington can hold his head high after his efforts with the bat, the number 11’s nine runs proving valuable as he and Clack put on 32 for the last wicket to lift Nowra from 9/198 to what should be a defendable total.

James Baccarini led the way for United with the ball with his 4/54 from 16 overs, while Bradley Field took 3/27 and Julias Machado, Kayleb Gat and Ben Ireland each took one wicket.

While Ex-Servos will fancy their chances of defending their total, the day didn’t start how they would like after Dave Rickwood removed Brandon Booth and Christopher Apps before a run had been scored.

Opener George Dickie (45) and Simon Blizzard (27) then steadied the ship with a 50 run stand before Blizzard fell at 3/52.

At 5/93 the Basin would have been hoping to clean up the rest of the Ex-Servo’s line up but Hari Bandari (62) and Blake Morris (34) combined for 68-run partnership to put the homeside on their way to a respectable total.

Rickwood was Basin’s best with the ball with 4/37, while Ben Pipe took 4/44, Michael Dolby and Mark Dhu split the remaining two wickets.

Brad Miller (3n.o) and Braedon Shears (5n.o) faced out five overs for the Basin before play stopped.

At Bomaderry Oval, Bomaderry have wrapped up first innings points against North Nowra-Cambewarra.

Batting first, Norths could only manage 113 and have Kieren Whiteley to thank for getting there as he supplied the bulk of the total with his 81.

Kaleb Phillips (18) was the only other batsmen to make it past two, as Norths had five batsmen fall on one.

Anthony Johnston was the pick of the Bomaderry bowlers with 5/25, while Stuart Jeffrey took 4/36.

Bomaderry had little trouble mowing down Norths’ total as they finished the day at 5/153 after 30 overs.

Matthew Lees (18n.o) and Tim Mather (12n.o) remained in the middle at stumps, while Adam Darby (60) has top scored so far.

Phillips has been the best for Norths with the ball with 3/34 from seven overs.

The scorers were kept busy at Berry Sporting Complex, with Berry and Batemans Bay losing a combined 20 wickets in just 40 overs.

Batemans Bay could only manage 49, which Berry chased down to claim first innings points after they replied with 86.

Corey McAlpin top scored for Batemans Bay with eight, while Paul Windsor was the next best with seven.

Tom Dougall (5/17) was Berry’s best with the ball, while Daniel Hockey took 4/25.

For Berry, Jarrad Mitchell top scored with 21, while Conor Edenden and Joel Mitchell added 15 and 16 respectively.

There was one bright spot for Batemans Bay, with Paul Britt cutting through the Berry line-up on his way to the impressive figures of 7/27 from 13 overs.
