A NOWRA woman, who pleaded not guilty to stealing more than $30,000 from a local recycling business has appeared in Nowra Local Court.

Alison Howe Smith, 48, of Quickmatch Street appear-ed in court on Monday, facing two counts of steal property as a clerk and two counts of possess identity information.
Evidence before the court said between 8am on January 1, 2012 and 10am June 6, 2012, Smith allegedly stole $21,685.65 while employed by South Coast Waste and Recycling.
She was also charged with stealing $9341.08 between 10am on May 18, 2011 and 10am on December 31, 2011.
She was also charged with possess identity information, a computer password and log in of another woman to access the National Australia Bank account of the company.
Smith pleaded not guilty to all charges and Magistrate Dr Gabrielle Fleming adjourned the matter until November 10 for the defence to answer the charges.
