Lost in Waste: A Landfill Odyssey was designed to bring awareness to the mounting issue of waste management facing the Shoalhaven.
The exhibition creatively reconfigured waste into works.
Samuel Elyard: Of Time and Place was also opened and gave insight into the artist who practiced in the Shoalhaven from 1868 until his death in 1910.
Best known for his large scale watercolours, Samuel Elyard also drew, worked in oils and was one of the earliest photographers producing an artistic record of the Shoalhaven's buildings and landscapes.
Seeking the Silence by Lissa de Sailles was opened in the foyer.
This exhibition explored the process of basket weaving and experimentation with plant fibres and tied in themes about the loss of indigenous cultural practices and modern societies effect on land.
Lost in Waste: A Landfill Odyssey and Samuel Elyard: Of Time and Place will be on show until December 7.
Seeking the Silence will run until November 8.
