It was a grueling three hour exam, but the students said they survived.
St John's student Tayla Bull said she found the math exam easier than the trail HSC exam, but it was still a challenge.
"The last question in particular was tough," she said.
"I've only got two exams left to do now."
Paris Le Gall-Zobec has three exams to go and said the math exam was tough, but she was proud to fill out every question.
"The multiple choice was nice and fun," she said.
"I can't wait to catch up on lost sleep once all the exams are over."
Sam Leslie said he looks forward to unwinding after he finishes his last two exams.
"The math exam was all fun and games until I got to questions 15 and 16," he said.
Jackson agreed that the last few questions were tough, but said he managed.
"It wasn't as hard as I expected, but it was still challenging to say the least."
Tyler Buchan said he is nearing the end of his HSC with just one exam left.
"This exam was a bit tough," he said.
"The first question was an easy one though and it got harder from there."
Sam Robertson said he practiced on past papers to prepare for the math exam.
"I didn't find it as hard as last year's exam, but it was a good test of our mental capabilities."
With just a few weeks left of the exams, students are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Many commenting they can't wait to catch up on some much needed sleep once it's all over.
