Week four produced some big scores and a couple of surprises. With the movement of some teams up and down some handled the change in standard better than others.
Mens A
Leaders Ice Men had a close game against bottom placed Vincentia Redweeds, the margin was only two goals. Second placed Tomerong United were convincing against Slytherin, while Southern Pirates after a good start, have lost 2 in a row to drop off the pace. YTB and Platinum, sitting mid table had a close game with only one goal between them.
Mens B
Tripper Snippers moved up from C grade and handled the moved, drawing with an improving CSS Engineering. Winnerpool moved up to second place with close win over The Tav.Last week’s leaders DTF dropped five positions following their first loss to Rusty’s by a 3 goal margin. Rainbow Warriors were narrowly beaten by Rangers. 2 Goals 1 cup dropped down from A grade but did not fare any better conceding 10 goals to Less than average Joes. Thirsty Bears and Bazinga fought out an honourable draw.
Men’s C
DQC moved up from D grade and continued their winning ways, they showed no mercy against Kicking grass scoring 7 goals against the cellar dwellers. Second placed Vidgers Aesthetics also had a big win over Ancare FC. Forest scored 9 against My Pink Hair. Keaney’s Electrical had a close win over Illuminati, while Unicorn Cheese enjoyed a narrow win against Eldiablo.
Men’s D
Competition joint leaders Last Minute stayed in front with a narrow win over Fellas, Equal top spot is held by Bomo Blues who had a comfortable win over Mickey’s Cleaning. The big winner on the night was Morning Glories who score eleven goals against The Benchwarmers. Exies also continue to look good beating K Babs by 4 goals. At the bottom Old Mates and Scores remain winless.
Over 35s
Ray White and Suarez Piranas started proceeding on the old fellas ground, Ray White were at their best scoring 7 goals. Next up was leaders Nowra City Holden against Moobs United, The Holdens did not need to get out of first gear, and were in reverse at times but still beat the Moobs by 4. Basin had to work hard for their win over Dills and I the last game Berry Donuts did it easy against Jootles.
Ladies A
Competition leaders Holliewood Hair & Beauty were forced to work hard to beat Extreme Carpet Care. Johnnies Girls were running hot scoring 11 against Gun team. Buzz Lightning suffered their first loss, playing with only 6 players they could not hold out the hard working Choices girls. After a couple of big losses to the competition leaders , the inbetweeners posted their second win narrowly beating Soccer mums.
Ladies B
Leaders Bay Boilers easily accounted for bottom place Fat Amy’s with a 7 goal win, Balumbo Shamunka share a congested second place after a close win over Don’t Care Bears. MAD Chicks suffered a big loss against Triple B. Ladies Get the Tradies had a close win against Macy Life Insurance, Sea Salt and Misfits were close in a low scoring game.
Ladies C
Pricy Girls were promoted from C grade and were up to the task winning by 4 goals against Benchwarmers. Longreach Earthmoving scored the only goal in an arm wrestle with Tru Blu. Black & Blue were convincing winners over Victorious Secret. Divas scored 6 in their win over Classics. Mobile Welding and Mizfits stayed on the pace with close victories.
Ladies D
The Jets surged to the lead in this division with a comfortable win over Cunning Stunts. Spitting Llamas stayed equal top narrowly beating Booth Partners. Bomaderry Bowling Club moved up to 3rd position winning by 6 goals against Medical Mayhem. Rockets & Can’t score managed 3 each and shared the points. Uni Girls had a big win over Pretenders.
A few reminders. All teams must have full uniforms WITH NUMBERS we have allow a few weeks you will now lose points if uniforms are not complete. Do not bring glass bottles in to the grounds and pick up your rubbish the grounds have looked like Tempe Tip the last few weeks.
