After missing day one, Matthews made a successful return, taking seven wickets in Ulladulla’s second innings.
Bomaderry had already wrapped up first innings points last week, after they made 137, in response to Ulladulla’s total of 126.
This left Ulladulla to start their second innings at the beginning of the second day.
Nothing went right from the get go for Ulladulla, as Matthews completely ripped through their top order.
Four batsmen were dismissed for ducks as Ulladulla slumped to 8/30.
It looked like it could be an early day for Bomaderry, but with danger man Harley Bell still at the crease, the job was not done yet.
Bell and number 10 batsman Rob Gilkes frustrated the Bomaderry bowlers, each holding up an end as time ticked away.
The two compiled a very handy partnership before Bell (51) fell to Brendan Hiriart, who soon picked up the final wicket for Bomaderry.
Hiriart finished with impressive figures of 2/0, but it was Matthews who really did the damage, taking 7/38 from 16 overs.
Gilkes remained unbeaten on 24 as Ulladulla were bowled out for 103.
While Bomaderry were left with a relatively small total for victory, they needed to make sure they got the runs before the close of play.
Travis Roth (53 not out) and Nick Jennings (35) ensured Bomaderry polished off the total.
They needed only 16.2 overs before reaching 2/94 and claiming an outright victory.
