Smoke was billowing from a three-storey building in Lidcombe on Saturday afternoon, with 60 firefighters working to contain the blaze.

Ten fire enginges, including two cherry pickers, were on the scene at the Grand Westella building, in which the Irae Buffet Korean restaurant operates.
Fire and Rescue NSW Superintendent Greg Rankin said the building, at 12 Bridge Street, was searched and there was no one inside.
About 60 people had been evacuated from adjoining shops.
"There are a few concerns that one of the walls looks a bit unstable, so the firefighters have set up an exclusion zone around the fire," he said. "The fire is not spreading. They have it under control."
"They are fighting the fire from the exterior, so there are no firefighers inside."
UPDATE: A fire in the roof of the Grand Westella Reception Centre in Lidcombe is currently billowing smoke.
