The current committee was re-elected unopposed with the addition of one new member, Cheryl Kent.
June Andersen was the guest presenter for the meeting.
June is a brilliant wild life and nature photographer who conducts classes in digital photography and also the very popular Mogo Zoom photography courses.
June’s presentation was on the creative use of light painting to produce images with a difference.
June was joined by Christa Drysdale from the Milton Ulladulla Camera Club for the judging of the images entered for assessment.
The set topic for the meeting, Night photograph painted with light, was judged by June.
She awarded the best of set subject to Cheryl Kent for her cleverly conceived and executed image, Light Graffiti.
Cheryl took this image at night of the skeleton of the old boat in the grounds of the Lady Denman Heritage Complex.
Christa Drysdale judged the open section.
Cheryl Kent took out the award for best photo in this section also, with a beautiful image of a silvereye bird on a bird bath.
The next meeting of the club is on Tuesday, October 14.
The guest presenter and judge is Malcolm Fackender.
Malcolm is an award winning photographer who is the owner of a photography tour company, Spotlight on Asia.
The set topic for the month is Monochrome Aged.
The Bay and Basin Camera Club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm at the Huskisson Community Centre in Dent Street, Huskisson.
