Police are reminding parents to stay vigilant after a child was allegedly approached at a caravan park at South Durras on Sunday.

Police said at about 5:15pm an eight-year-old boy was riding his bicycle on a shared road within the confines of a resort on Banyandah Street, South Durras.
A man in a car approached the boy and spoke to him in an aggressive manner, before driving away.
A second man was in the passenger seat of the car at the time of the incident. Police are seeking witnesses to the incident.
Police from Far South Coast Local Area Command wish to speak to a male described as 60-70 old male, with glasses, grey/white hair with fringe driving a dark blue SUV with roof racks and dark tinted windows with a number dolls/toys on the front dashboard.
Far South Coast Crime Manager Detective Inspector Kevin McNeil is reminding parents to stay vigilant following the incident.
“The Far South Coast receives numerous visitors during the school holidays and it is a time when parents should remain vigilant around their children.
“If parents or their children witness anything suspicious or if a child is approached, they should take detailed descriptions of people or vehicles and notify police.”
