The last day of term 3 is fast approaching for all local schools, with students readying themselves for the final HSC exams.
Nowra Christian school captains Maddison Jeffery and Jarred Donovan said they both planned to stay in the local area and were extremely excited to embark on a new chapter of their lives.
“I’m undecided about what I want to do when I leave school at this stage,” Miss Jeffery said.
“I’m excited to start discovering what new opportunities are out there for me.
“The best thing about my time here is the friendships I have made and the different opportunities which I have been able to take advantage of through the school.”
Mr Donovan said the friendships he made with other
students weren’t the only ones he cherished.
“It’s the friendships I’ve made with the teachers as well,” he said.
“I’m planning on staying local but I’d like to study at Wollongong University and do my masters in education to become a teacher.
“The teachers here have been so beneficial to our education and character development, helping us become the men and women we are today.”
This year Nowra Christian School will say good luck to
students Jesse Barrett, Samuel Berryman, Richard Bowe, Brett Burns, Philip Crompton, Tommy De Blasé, Jarred Donovan, Matthew Eldridge, Michael Fischer, Robert Hill, Taylor Horton, Maddison Jeffery, Kyle Lucas, Isaac Luntungan, Miriam Mackie, Shaylee McGregor, Kane Nielsen, Oliver Robjohns, Anna Schipp, Taylor Schofield, Angela Senior, Brendon Spencer, Alexander Utber, Bruk Vidler, Angus Waiter, Aaron Watling and Benjamin Whitford.
