Parents, teachers, fellow students and other members of the school community were treated to a private viewing of the award-winning performance, which was part of the national creative learning festival Wakakirri last month.
Almost 100 children from Cambewarra Public School took part in the performance, which was reminiscent of The Lion King.
Through song, dance, incredible costumes and set designs they told the story of animal poaching in Africa.
Year 6 student Cassie O’Carroll said she loved being a part of the show.
“It was a great, fun thing to do with my friends.”
Fellow student James Nield enjoyed being involved with the other schools in the performance at the WIN Entertainment Centre in August.
“This was my first time at this type of performance and I really liked the dancing,” he said.
