It was a case of fairytales and miracles for the Bega Roosters, who advanced directly to the grand final in all three grades the club contested.
The under 18s, league-tag and first grade men's all outdid their opponents, to varying degrees, to claim berths in the pinnacle match of the Group 16 season.
The under 18s met an intense and fit Merimbula-Pambula side and both clubs traded tries in the first half.
The Roosters began to dominate play in the second half with both squads succumbing to injuries mid-match.
Bega gained a solid advantage before tempers boiled over in the dying minutes of the game.
In the league-tag match it was one penalty kick in a 2-0 win that saw the Chicks overcome the Cooma Fillies.
Full contact rugby league star Kezie Apps featured for the Bega outfit with solid runs and clever offloads, she also kicked the game winning penalty goal.
The Fillies did look the goods, creating some strong runs through Maree Ingram and the Cooma girls' kicking game was impressive to say the least.
The reserve grade match was a clash of the titans as Eden took on the second placed Panthers.
Both squads were on par and went to half-time deadlocked, but Eden soon overran the game as handling errors and penalties plagued both outfits.
The Tigers put on some rapid fire tries to take a solid win over the Panthers, with the Panthers now set to take on the Moruya Sharks in the preliminary final.
However, it was the headline first grade match creating fireworks for spectators as the Bega Roosters overcame an 16-point deficit to win in the second half.
Firing accurate kicks from Blake Robinson, twice in the final 20 minutes Adam Blacka was able to recover the ball from the restart, sending in a try on the first run, while setting the Roosters up on the second.
With just one minute left on the clock, the Roosters pulled off a massive upset when Ryan Apps broke through the Sharks' line, but was tackled 20 metres out.
The following set of six saw the Roosters shake off the Moruya Defence to claim a 26-24 win.
