The Department of Premier and Cabinet has released a discussion paper on the issue and is now calling for public submissions before a final report is prepared later this year.
“A discussion paper has been released in what is the first step of the consultation process on specific issues or concerns regarding the Rebuilding NSW plan and the proposed partial lease,” Kiama MP Gareth Ward said.
“I strongly encourage all interested parties and community groups across the Illawarra and South Coast to lodge a submission and to have their voices heard.”
Submissions must be made by Friday, September 19.
