Mr Carr, the former longest serving premier, will be special guest at two events hosted by the Berry/Shoalhaven Heads Branch of the ALP.
An afternoon tea will be held with Mr Carr from 2.30pm to 5pm at the Berry Courthouse, where he will stage a talk. Copies of his book, Diary of a Foreign Minister, will also be available.
For 18 months as foreign minister, Mr Carr kept a diary documenting the whirl of high-stakes events on the world stage and provides an intimate glimpse of the day-to-day workings of a foreign minister.
Mr Carr will also sign copies of the book, from which profits from the sale are going to charity Interplast.
Tickets for the afternoon tea are $30.
Later that evening a dinner will also be held with Mr Carr at The Hungry Duck in Berry.
Tickets are $250 for the five-course dinner, which includes wine.
