SHOALHAVEN City Council, transport operators and community groups are being urged to apply for around $1.6 million in grants to improve public transport infrastructure throughout the Shoalhaven.
Projects such as new bus and taxi shelters, bus stop signage, interchanges and better lighting and security are available under the Country Passenger Transport Infrastructure Grant Scheme (CPTIGS).
Applications for the latest round of grants are now open.
