The teachers and students from Bomaderry Primary School got into the spirit of things with all the teachers dressing up as a character on Tuesday.
There was a special assembly with awards given to those students who had excelled in different areas.
The DeanSwift book stall was a hit with all, with the Skullduggery series proving a sell-out hit.
This year’s theme for Book Week is “Reading to connect”.
Reading to connect has a broader social meaning, suggesting that reading assists in creating a bond with others.
Within the world of the contemporary child, this is also relevant as they read books and they read to connect through a variety of media.
