“Colin Fassnidge has two beautiful restaurants in Sydney and we are lucky to have him make time in his busy schedule,” she said.
The annual dinner is always a sold-out event with many top Sydney chefs coming as guest chefs and attending the event, including SBS’s Peter Kuravita.
“Others who support the event on an ongoing basis are Giovanni Pilu, from Pilu’s in Freshwater, Peter Doyle from Establishment and Alessandro Pavoni from Ormeggio at the Spit,” Mrs Laver said.
“It’s a high-pressure environment for the students to work with some of the country’s biggest names in food there to critique their performance,” she said.
